Psychedelic Location Santa Monica, California, United States Spec began beatmaking when he was in high school with compadres Lost Thought and Shifty J. Spec went to medical school overseas in India in 1996 where he discovered IndiaÔÇÖs Goa trance scene. After spending a considerable amount of time in Goa with a healthy dose of experimentation and a stiff lesson in the knowledge of sound, Spec went on to combine these elements to produce a smoker ambient, hip hop atmospheric journey in musical expression
