Naasko has been involved in the electronic music scene globally since the early 90's as a DJ, VJ, event producer and behind the scenes conspirator.
As a DJ, he has played at events and festivals in Japan, Australia, the UK, Portugal, Germany, Panama, Mexico, the US and Canada. Spanning a wide range of sounds and spaces, his free-range sensibility covers diverse territory between beats of all description including dub, deep dubstep, techno, drum'n'bass and downtempo.
In the studio he has worked with Don Peyote on two meta-music ambient albums and has co-produced downtempo tracks with Noah Pred under the name Sympath for Native State Records.
From 2002 to 2008 his project management and event production company - Invisible Productions - has coordinated the Liminal Village at the bi-annual Boom festival in Portugal. Over the years Invisible has been on the core production team of many events and festivals along the west coast and internationally including Symbiosis Gathering, Waveform Project, Emerg+n+see, Glade Festival, Shambhala, Basscoast and Gaian Mind. Naasko also worked with Soundtrax Music / 8Fold, placing music into film and televeision. At present he is putting together a new compilation for Interchill for release this coming summer. Previously he compiled Arcana and shared the compiling with Andrew on Depth Charge. His graphic design work and general chilled vibes have also contributed a lot to the label.
